The Georgia Film Critics Association (GAFCA) was created in 2011 with the intention to promote film criticism and the film industry within the state of Georgia.
While critics groups are prevalent in many parts of the country, the GAFCA is the first of its kind to be based solely in the state of Georgia.
GAFCA includes members of the reviewing press across online, radio, television or print media.

- Tuesday, December 9, 2025 — Nomination voting begins.
- Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM — Nomination ballots due.
- Friday, December 19, 2025 — Nominations announced.
- Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM — Final ballots due.
- Saturday, December 27, 2025 — Winners & Runners-up announced.
